COURSE
The Private Pilot may fly a single engine airplane for pleasure or for personal business. The Private Pilot may carry passengers and share some flight expenses but cannot fly for full compensation.
A Private Pilot Certificate is your starting point.

No Prior Flight Experience is Required!
REQUIREMENTS:
PRIVATE PILOT BASE COURSE DESCRIPTION
Student pilot will receive a minimum of 41 hours of flight time and a minimum of 15 hours of pre/post flight briefings in addition to Ground School.
Ground school training includes: aerodynamics and the principles of flight; aircraft systems; meteorology and weather data services; airspace; air traffic control; radio communications; federal aviation regulations; aero medical factors; aeronautical charts and associated publications; aircraft performance and limitations; basic and radio navigation; night flying procedures; flight planning; flight maneuvers; and ground operations.
Flight training syllabus includes: preflight procedures; airport operations; takeoffs and landings; performance maneuvers; ground reference maneuvers; navigation and cross-country operations; basic instrument maneuvers; stalls; emergency operations; night operations; and pre/post flight briefings.

The exact cost of your flight training cannot be predicted beforehand. The cost of flight training depends on many factors including type and size of airplane, how often you fly, and the time and dedication you spend on studying academic books. The following is a breakdown of the approximate cost of learning to fly.
