PROFESSIONAL PILOT PROGRAM 2

The Professional Pilot Program (P.P.P.) is designed for students who wish to make a career as a pilot. Whether you wish to become a corporate pilot or work for the airlines, American Winds will give you the best preparation to fulfill your aviation goals.  Upon completion of the P.P.P., the student will receive certificate of graduation from the P.P.P.

American Winds currently offers three types of Professional Pilot Programs, which are based on the specific aircraft a student chooses to fly. 

The Professional Pilot Program 2 is based on a student completing his or flight private and commercial flight training in our Piper Warrior, and instrument flight training in our Cessna 172, as well as 20 hours of complex flight training time in our Piper Arrow.  To view further details of the aircraft available to fly, click on the following links: Cessna150, Cessna172SP, Piper Warrior, Piper Arrow, and Piper Seneca II.

Students may choose the PPP 2 if they are more than 220 pounds or just want a larger, more comfortable flight training experience. A breakdown of the estimated costs is as follows and is for only the minimum number of flight hours. Students generally take more time then only the required minimums to compete their flight training.
