Once AWFA has been selected as your flight school, you will need to make arrangements to come into the office to complete the admissions process. The prospective student will meet with the Chief Pilot and be assigned a flight instructor, at which time, course materials will be purchased and appropriate documentation will be filled out or confirmed. Completion of the admission process will include:
- Tour the facility and meet the faculty
- Completion of Financial Aid Packet
- Proof of US Citizenship (Birth Certificate or Passport)
- The copy and review of appropriate licenses
- Review course description & requirements
- Student obligation and responsibilities
- The review and signing of the Enrollment Agreement (Dept. of Education Requirements)
- Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs]
- Highlight "Scheduling" and meet your Flight Instructor
